Torah, Mashiach, prophecies, Sephaniah 3:9, Elohim, Moshiach

Ramb”m states of the shiakh, “He will then arrange the whole world to serve only [Elohim], as it is said, ‘For then I shall convert the lips of the kindreds to a ברורה (bәrurah; clarified, clear) language for them all to call upon the Name of ‘ה, and, as one, to serve Him” (Tzәphanyâh 3:9 with Sanhedrin 91b; see Scholem, p. 28f).

The leadership of the legitimate followers of Ribi Yәhoshua can only be found where he and the leadership of his original Nәtzârim followers were: within the legitimate Torâh-observant Jewish community in Israel. Today, the Nәtzârim are headed by an Israeli Orthodox Jew in good standing in the Israeli Orthodox Jewish community who is a member of the board of an Israeli Orthodox Jewish Synagogue — in Ra·ananah, a suburb 15km north of Teil Aviv.

The Nәtzârim have students in various stages of progress on every continent… more than 40 countries — from Africa, Asia and the Middle-East to several provinces of Canada; from Europe and Scandanavia to South America and several provinces of Australia and more than 38 states of the US; too many countries to list exhaustively, going completely around the world — a sampling shows students of the Nәtzârim in Israel and Far East countries including Japan, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan and the Philippines to Nigeria, Namibia and South Africa, Jordan, Finland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Austria, Britain and the Netherlands, to Washington, D.C., to Mexico, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico and the Antilles, to Argentina, Brazil, Columbia and El Salvador to Hawaii to Guam, New Zealand, Australia and more!”

Prophecies: Isaiah 7-9, Daniel 9:24-27

Wouldn’t it be better if you studied my arguments?? Rabbi Yehoshua – the Messiah – came in the first century. He was propheceied to keep Torah. Isaiah 7-9 in Hebrew doesn’t imply divinity, nor trinity. Yeshayahu 53 is about the Torah-observant Messiah Yehoshua, so is Daniel 9:24-27. If you studied Hebrew, you would find plenty of differences to a Christian ‘translation’. You agree with me that Isaiah 7-9 also was partially about king Hizkiah?

Follow Yeshua – the Messiah – according to the prophecies

The followers of the Messiah are prophesied to observe Torah non-selectively – Isaiah 9:6, 42:1-4, etc, in Hebrew. You can learn more about that in my videos. Why don’t you want to observe it? You can become grafted into Israel the way that is outlined in the Torah including logical mishpat. The tomb of Rabbi Yehoshua, the Talpiot Tomb, is found. Isaiah 42, 7-9 and other Tana”ch-prophecies

There are many opinions, however Torah commands not to follow human, but to follow the Creator. I prove in my videos that all of mankind is required to observe the directives of Torah. I know what the Hebrew Bible – including the Torah, Prophets and Writings, reads about the Torah. Your translation is not what it says in Hebrew. It translates ‘My Father [is] until… Also that he would be called Emmanuel, does not imply that He would be an incarnated man-god. It means Eil is with us, i.e. Eil is with the people of Israel. The prophecy in Isaiah 7-9 is dual – it was also about king Hiskiah – which no one regarded as an incarnated man-god. I.e. neither the Mashiach would be that.

The Mashiach is prophecied in Isaiah 53; and there is nothing in the prophecies claiming that the Jews would reject the Mashiach. Sins? The sins are Torah-transgressions. Because of that he became a sacrifice the Creator bestows His forgiveness for the past Torah-transgressions of a person who is re(turn)ing to Torah-observans – See Ezekiel 18 in Hebrew. That is the only way and will forever be the only way to receive the forgiveness of the Creator in His lovingkindness. The Creator doesn’t change. It does say in Isaiah 42:1-4 that because of the teachings of the Mashiach the gentiles will be led to keep mishpat – i.e. keep Torah non-selectively. Born under sin is not a doctrine found in the Hebrew Bible, neither is hell.

Revelation / Apocalypse vs Torah-prophecies?

Interesting quote:Written in a beginners-friendly style, The Unveiling demonstrates how even the top Christian seminarians and evangelists — heirs of the Hellenist gentile Romans — are estranged and alien from the authentic teachings of Ribi Yәhoshua in his first century community of Hebrew- and Aramaic-speaking, Middle-eastern, Pharisee Jews.

Revelation (Greek αποκαλυψις / “Apocalypse”) refers to the Hebrew ההתגלות (ha-hitgalut; the unveiling) of a scroll by unrolling it to read the text. Melted wax seals were often rolled into the scroll. On cooling, the wax stuck the scroll together at that point, a seal. When unrolling the scroll to read it, it couldn’t be unrolled beyond the seal without breaking the seal. Thus, the next section couldn’t be viewed, or read, without breaking the seal. The Unveiling claims as its author a first-century religious Jew, Yokhânân “Bën-Rogez“ (“the Irascible”) Bar-Zavdi·eil, who depended for his visions upon Yәkhëzqeil, Dâni·eil and the other Prophets of the Jewish Bible.

All of the innumerable Christian speculators, finding ancient Judaism entirely alien to them, have viewed Apocalypse — written by a first century Jew — through “un-Judaic,” and therefore grossly distorted, lenses. Predictably, the resulting “prophecies” they describe would be unrecognizable and alien to Yokhânân “Bën-Rogez” Bar-Zavdi·eil. The key to identifying 666 and the other symbols has remained hidden from “un-Judaic” eyes, in first century Judaism. The Unveiling positively identifies — in “Revelation for Dummies” language anyone can understand — 666, the Antichrist, the Dragon, the Beast out of the Sea, the Beast out of the Land, the False Prophet, his Icon and the Mark. Further, it explains Armageddon, the Tribulation and the Rapture — as the first-century Jewish author understood them! This information is available nowhere else.

In ancient tradition, still continued by Jews today, a scroll is covered by a cloth, or veil. To read the scroll, it first had to be unveiled. To seal a scroll, hot wax was rolled into the scroll. Thus, a scroll could be sealed in several places. Each seal prevented further unrolling of the scroll until that seal was broken.

Ignorant of first century Judaism, traditional interpretations are oblivious to the perspective of the original author who was purportedly a first-century Pharisee Jew, NOT a Hellenist gentile Roman. Non-Jewish interpretations are mired in post-135 C.E. gentile Roman Hellenist syncretisms that support misojudaic Christian displacement theology. Since the first century, The Unveilingis the only translation and explanation of “Revelation” by an Orthodox Jew in good standing who understands its essential — first-century Judaic — context, in ways not possible before the discovery of Dead Sea Scroll 4Q MMT.

Messianic prophecies – Daniel 9:25

Interesting quote: “On the other hand, R. Singer states about Dâniyeil 9.25 “if Dâniyeil 9.25, as it appeared in the original 1611 edition of the NT, were to be left undoctored, it would be impossible to apply this verse to Jesus” (Outreach Judaism, p. 38-41).

On the other hand, to mangle Scriptures to fit his argument R. Singer argues, incomprehensively contrary to Judaism, that Dâniyeil and Yi•rәmәyâhu ha-Nâ•vi were both “mistaken” in their prophecies (ibid. p. 40-41).

We concur that it’s impossible to apply this verse to the Christian Jesus on countless grounds. However, anyone who reads The 1993 Covenant (Chap. 10) will discover why, contrary to R. Singer’s argument,

  1. neither Dâniyeil nor Yi•rәmәyâhu ha-Nâ•vi were “mistaken,” and
  2. that, contrary to his contention, and like many Sages of Judaism, we have always distinguished the first seven weeks of years (49 years) from the remaining 62 weeks of years (434 years)’ and it always has, and continues to, fit perfectly when applied to historical Ribi Yәho•shua.

Moreover, what R. Singer describes as “Dâniyeil‘s mistake” turns out to be—surprise!—R. Singer’s mistake.

The מצא דבר להשיב ולבנות ירושלם in Dâniyeil 9.25 is straightforward and historical: the “saying to restore and build Yәrushâlayim” decreed by Artakhshast (Artaxerxes) I toNәkhëm•yâh in B.C.E. 453. This is easily verifiable in almost any encyclopedia or history reference book covering that period.

R. Singer attempts to tie this prophecy to a completely irrelevant passage “the Saying of י--ה‘ to Yi•rәmәyâhu ha-Nâ•vi, that He would fill up the חרבות (kharvotdevastation !!!) ofYәrushâlayim for 70 years” (Dâniyeil 9:2).

How is it that R. Singer sees no difference between “the saying to devastate Yәrushâlayim for 70 years” and “the saying to restore and build Yәrushâlayim“?!?

Dâniyeil explicitly and plainly states “the saying to restore and build Yәrushâlayim“!

This is irrefutably the decree by Artakhshast I in B.C.E. 453!!!

R. Singer’s uses Hebrew calendar datings to obfuscate the fact that his dates have nothing to do with the consistent datings of the Hebrew calendar, the secular calendar, history and reality. Example: Cyrus / or Koresh, reigned from B.C.E. 559-529 (EJ, 5.1184). Even R. Singer shows that the destruction of the Beit-ha-Mi•qәdâsh was within one year of the dating we give inChronology of the Tan”kh from the ‘Big Bang’, which equates 70 C.E. with 3830 (R. Singer gives 3829). Since the Hebrew calendar depends on the season of the year on the secular calendar, we’ll not quibble about one year.

Calculating the zero point between the years B.C.E. 1 and C.E. 1 (there was no “zero” year) yields 3830—70 = 3760. So do all of the major calendar calculating programs and websites.

R. Singer gives the reign of Cyrus as 3390-3393. He doesn’t tell his readers that this Hebrew date equates to B.C.E. 370-367. However, all history books are in close agreement that Cyrus reigned from B.C.E. 559-529 (EJ, 5.1184)!!! R. Singer glosses over his gross distortion of historical dates—by nearly two centuries! It’s, therefore, חוצפה (khutzpah; audacity) when he complains that Christians manipulate facts!

Artakhshast I (Artaxerxes), “In the later, calmer years of his reign, ‘appointed [Nәkhëm•yâh] governor of [Yәhud•âh] with authority to fortify [Yәrushâlayim]” (EJ,3.647).

This proclamation or edict is described more clearly in non-Jewish history books. Nevertheless, EJ’s description is enough to see that [Artakhshast I] issued such a decree—and when. While seemingly intentionally avoiding giving a date directly, EJ goes on to zero-in on the approximate date of this saying to return and build Yәrushâlayim. “It was probably during these troubled first three-fifths of his reign that the provincial authorities of [the Sho•mәr•on] were able to persuade the king that the rebuilding of [Yәrushâlayim's] walls by the Jews constituted a threat to his authority” (ibid. 647).

The only viable way that the issue of rebuilding Yәrushâlayim could have come to the fore is if a proclamation had already been issued—i.e., sometime during the “first three-fifths of his reign”—and the rebuilding had begun causing anxieties. He reigned 40 years. Each fifth is then 8 years. The first 3/5 was then 24 years beginning in B.C.E. 465. This narrows the period to B.C.E. 465-441.

If we simply take the middle of this period to be in the ball park, (465 + 441) / 2, we arrive at B.C.E. 453.

This date, in agreement with the consensus of modern scholars, is the date we used for our calculations in The 1993 Covenant.

“In the later, calmer years of his reign, he appointed [Nәkhëm•yâh] governor of Ribi Yәho•shua] with authority to fortify [Yәrushâlayim]” (ibid.), i.e., after considering the possibility of a threat to his authority, he determined that, rather, rebuilding Yәrushâlayim was an extension of his authority, confirming his earlier proclamation of c. B.C.E. 453.

Even more shocking, and contradicting virtually all of the Judaic Sages, R. Singer labels the destruction of the Beit-ha-Mi•qәdâsh in 70 C.E. as the beginning of the “Messianic Age”!?! (p. 41). Please therefore, might he tell us, the name of the Mâ•shiakh who, in 70 C.E., must have come in victory according to all popular Jewish interpretations of Messianic prophecies? This is news to the Judaic world!

This is certainly nowhere near an exhaustive list of R. Singer’s mistakes. But it should be far more than sufficient. One mistake is sufficient.

An understanding of Dâniyeil‘s prophecy that doesn’t depend on “mistakes” on the part of Dâniyeil or Yi•rәmәyâhu ha-Nâ•vi is found in Chapter 10 of The 1993 Covenant.

Prophecies about Messiah in Torah?

My reply to a person:

You claim that Jesus is foreshadowed in the Torah

In Torah and the Hebrew Bible a Torah-observant-Messiah is prophecied. See Isaiah 42:1-4 in Hebrew. The word ‘mishpat’ is used, which has the implication of Torah-observance. I.e. the followers of Messiah won’t eat pig, nor eat shellfish. According to Ezekiel 18 a person must to his utmost to keep Torah. Only then will the Creator give His forgiveness for past Torah-transgressions. The Creator doesn’t change-Malachi 3:6
